Now, if there ever was a company that needs good hosting, its Natwest/RBS. I think they need to buy a new server or something, perhaps get the UK Government to ‘invest’ some more money in to them so they can throw some more logs on the fire in their comms room furnace, because today I got this error;

Too many users spoil the broth

Too many users spoil the broth

The error shows “Too many users”. Good to know my high business banking charges are going where the money is needed :S

Anyone want a loan ?

In this day and age, with the economy dribbling out of the ear of the planet, it’s good to know that some banks and loan-agents are still looking out for the best interests of their prospective users.

Take for example Log Book Loans who clearly are trying very hard to win new custom by offering a loan with an eye-watering 437.4% interest !

Iestyn sent me to the Cisco site today. Apparently someone stole their T’s (along with the CSS: All your CSS belong to us…perhaps). Frankly I think he must have redirected my DNS somehow to some duffer site, but I thought it was funny enough. :)

T....what T ?

Well, I was on holiday, that was my excuse. If you tried to view my home videos in the last few posts and got an error, it was my fault (clearly, it could hardly be yours). I marked the videos as private when uploading to you-tube. I’ve fixed the issue now, and I can tell that you will be only too keen to check the films agains.

End of my holiday

It’s the last night of our mini-world tour and we are sitting down to a goodbye curry after struggling with getting mini-me to bed. It’s been a sad day. My T-Mobile MDA Vario III has died. I’ve spoken to T-Mobile Business Support who tell me that the much awaited T-Mobile MDA Vario IV (HTC Touch Pro) is due on the next boat which arrives in the next quarter, starting October. As I really can’t wait, I’ve ordered a nice shiney HTC Touch Diamond and reserved my T-Mobile MDA Vario IV for release day :)

Wooooooooookey

Today, on day two (or is this three) of the grand world tour, we visited Wookey hole. Now, I will say that I loved the actual caves. I was really blown away by them, even if my daughter thought the height of sophistication was to shout “BAAHHHHHHH!” at the top of her voice to hear the echo. However, at £15 an adult, we got about an hour or maybe an hour and a half before we had seen it all and done it all. Compare that to Longleat, where £22 per adult got us easily 6 hours of fun where everything was included accept lunch. Longleat is still the best day out I know of.

Here’s some more dull photos.

Monkey at the zoo

Today we went off for jollies at Longleat Safari Park. We currently have a world tour on our holidays (well, a tour around the south-west of the UK…and by tour I mean we’re staying in a caravan park) and of course having a small child Longleat was first on our list. Get ready for some dull photos and clips.

White ears

My chicken, Flo, has white inner ear flap things. She’s had them forever (well around the 6 months of her life so far) and seems fine in herself. Her fellow friends have normal looking ear flappy bits, all red and flappy. Flo though has a flat ear-flap, with a raised outter edge and a white center. The white part almost looks powdery.

What do you think ?

Coil…Cuil…gone down

Cuil, the new wanna-be for Googles thrown has been launched. Despite being setup by ex google monkeys, they haven’t learnt about users, numbers, and the impact of advertising yourself as googles next in line.

Coils gone down....Cuil....Cuil...must say Cuil

The end of the day

Well, we’ve had to seperate the chickens tonight after a few mental clashes. The new ones are sleeping in a box in the greenhouse (doors open and secured with chicken wire) and the original ones are in their proper place. Tomorrow will see a day of seperation with the new ones in one side of the run and the old ones on the other and then we’ll try to put the new chickens to bed with the others when they are settled.

Heaven help us.
